When one of your students brings you a mosaic of fresh farm eggs for finals week breakfast 😍
My favorite assignment from my Making Comics class was Dadaist collage zines. This one was made by one of my 16yo students! Dadaism was an art and literature movement born out of the chaos of WWI. Free comic book day at the library! We made Once,But,And comics from @meggietheramm, created story spines from Ken Adams, and folded and drew and collaged dozens of zines.
Reading Look! Babies Head to Toe! by Robie H. Harris and @foxville_art 😍 Already my little starfish’s favorite book (and we have many!)

Trying not to cry today. I spilled coffee all over my computer last week and IT doesn’t think it’s salvageable. I couldn’t log into my loaner computer and my projector isn’t working. Pretty crappy birthday so far, but one of my students made me these needle-felted dinosaurs at a birthday party, and they are bringing me joy.
