Making more little things to feel human. Red, blue, and gold collage.
Took a break from burning out by making some tiny food as an example for my students. I assigned them to make a meal that was meaningful to them in miniature. We used white Model Magic and painted with watercolors. These are my fish and chips with mushy peas, representing the first meal I shared with the guy I’d eventually marry.

Exhausted, but this is my favorite kind of snow
I tried out the ADHD hack of turning your phone on your side to experience binaural beats bouncing from speaker to speaker and little starfish started smiling. Tried it again and recorded her reaction. I already have a ton of these songs on a playlist. Now we have to listen to them sideways!

I might be an art teacher, but I love being able to recommend books to students! Today’s match was a basketball lover to whom I showed my copy of DRAGON HOOPS. The way his face lit up! He immediately asked for a pass to the school library to borrow a copy. 🥰
